A daring hike on the Taurus mountains

The Islands of Taurus hosts the biggest mountains found in the UIN. This makes it the perfect place for adventurers. With its steep hills and beautiful view, the Taurus mountains make for an experience you won't forget

The Taurus mountains cover most of its island, reaching a peak height of 3126 meters. Every summer a few 100 people take the mountain path and dare to make the trip to the top of the mountain. There you have a view on the entire mountain range and the neighbouring islands.

For those who wish to go on a more daring entreprise, the Taurus tourist agency offers a few climbing parcours you can take up the mountain hills. The biggest of these parcours; 'the height parcours', is the real favorite of young students and adventurers. (closed during winter due to risk of avalanches)

A calm stroll down the beach

Of course if you're not really in to climbing a mountain, you can always go on a stroll on the beautiful shell beaches and its many caves. Taurus' residential area also offers a few past-times so that everyone can enjoy a good day on the island of Taurus. Especially during winter when the snow caps have formed on the islands. People can really appreciate a warm coco in one of the many warm and welcoming brasseries.
