OUR RIGHT TO EXIST
The HALSAHAR education programme was launched due to a bigger growing crowd that demanded a more diverse, culture-integrated and unique education programme, thus on 15 March 2018 president June, minister of foreign affairs Arthur Johnson and minister of Culture Keith Hancock signed an agreement ligitematizing education abroad within the curriculum
OUR NAME
HALSAHAR name refers to three very famous physicists throughout history; Halsey, Sagan and Hartmann. Halsey was known to be the first to predict the return of a comet. Integrating for the first time predictions with maths and changing its entire landscape. Sagan was a physicist who made physics and nature sciences popular to an bigger audience by making physics fun and Hartmann was the first to predict a valid theory on the origins of our moon. Since the moon is a big part of our culture, it would be a shame not to include him in our name.
OUR VISION
HALSAHAR was launched with a certain mindset and vision for the future. By engaging in the HALSAHAR programme you aim for an unique education abroad with focus on INTERACTIVITY, QUALITY, and AUTHENTICITY but also FUN. These values were strongly carried by one of the most famous physicists in history; Sagan. So we gave him a fitting place in the name of our programme.
